Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of Grand Junction Residents Directory. The pages are a private reference to Mesa County, Grand Junction, and Colorado record routes. By using them, you accept these conditions. If you do not accept them, do not use the site or its linked search tools.

1. What This Reference Is

Grand Junction Residents Directory is privately operated. It describes and links to public rolls, record indexes, court routes, library collections, and historical directories related to Grand Junction, Mesa County, and Colorado. It does not host government files and is not affiliated with a city, county, state agency, court, library, or records custodian.

2. Rules for Using the Site

Use the pages and linked tools only for lawful purposes. You may not use information from them to:

  • Stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or harm a person
  • Locate someone protected by a restraining or protective order
  • Commit identity theft, fraud, or another unlawful act
  • Make a decision regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act
  • Scrape, republish, or copy the site at scale
  • Disrupt the site's operation, security, or linked services

3. No Consumer Reporting Agency

This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. §1681 et seq. Neither the pages nor a result from a linked search tool is a consumer report. Nothing here may be used for a credit, employment, housing, insurance, tenant-screening, or other FCRA-covered decision.

4. Outside Links and Tools

Linked portals include Mesa County and Grand Junction offices, Colorado courts, elections and vital records, libraries, archives, USPS, Census, and other services. Sponsored search tools and outside services have their own terms, privacy rules, pricing, and availability. Grand Junction Residents Directory does not control their content, result fields, or data handling.

5. No Warranties

The reference is supplied “as is” and “as available.” No warranty is made that a page, link, fee, office detail, coverage date, portal, or result is complete, accurate, current, secure, or available at a particular time. Confirm a record with its custodian before relying on it.

6. Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or similar loss arising from use of this reference or an external resource. That includes a decision or action based on a record discovered through a page or link.

7. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold the operators harmless from a claim, demand, loss, or expense, including reasonable attorney fees, that arises from your misuse of the site, a linked tool, or another person's information, or from your breach of these terms.

8. Intellectual Property

The original writing, design, logo, and page layout are protected by copyright. Normal linking and brief attributed quotations are welcome. Full-page republication, systematic copying, or a competing archive of the site is not permitted without written permission.

9. Changes to These Terms

The terms may be revised by posting a replacement at this location. Continued use after a revision means that the revised terms apply from that point forward.

10. Cutting Off Access

Access may be blocked or limited when a user violates these conditions, abuses a search tool, threatens a custodian, scrapes content, or interferes with security. The operators may take that step without prior notice.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Colorado's public-record framework includes the Colorado Open Records Act, C.R.S. §§24-72-200.1 through 205, and the Colorado Criminal Justice Records Act, C.R.S. §§24-72-301 through 309. The Colorado Privacy Act may apply to qualifying personal-data practices, subject to its exceptions. Those laws govern the official custodian and do not make this private reference a custodian.

12. Severability

If a court finds one part of these terms unenforceable, that part will be limited or removed to the extent required, and the remaining terms will continue.

13. Questions

Questions about these terms can be sent through the Contact page. Record requests should go to the Mesa County, Grand Junction, court, library, archive, or state office that holds the requested record.
